Our client wins the proceedings pending in Norway concerning bone cement products represented by Norwegian Law firm Haavind. The team of Klinkert Rechtsanwälte PartGmbB around Friedrich Klinkert, Marijon Kayßer and Philipp Ess is entrusted with the coordination of the multinational bundle of proceedings.
The case, pending in Norway since 2015, concerned the question of whether a former distribution partner of our client had illegally used their trade secrets for the development of competing bone cement products.
The District Court in Norway found in favor of our client that trade secrets had been used illegally and ruled that the opposing party has to stop selling its products in Norway. In addition, following our client’s application, the other party was ordered to pay compensation for lost sales and legal costs.
Although the ruling is not yet final, the Norwegian judgment is of great importance for the ongoing multinational legal proceedings in various European and non-European countries, which Klinkert Rechtsanwälte coordinates from Frankfurt.
